Tree House Texting
Skane, Sweden – If you ever decide you need to hide out so you can search through your spouse’s cell phone’s text messages…make sure it is a place you can get out of. A Swedish wife who thought her son’s tree house was the best place to check her husbands cell phone for evidence that he’d been ‘messing around’ had to be freed by police from the elevated fort. Having a fit of jealousy, the woman snuck out of the house early in the morning to scour her other half’s text messages. However, the availability of the phone proved handy when she got trapped in the structure, and she called 911 for assistance. “We helped her down after a while. She thanked us and ran back into the house where her husband was still sleeping,” said a dumbfounded police officer. “The call was probably one of the strangest I have been involved in. The woman told us that she had found a text message that she didn’t like…but that’s it.”
For the Girl Behind Bars
Petersburg, FL - The effect women can have on men can be quite powerful and is amazing the crazy things that men will do for their girl. Take this desperate man for example. With his girlfriend in jail he tried to think of ways to get himself behind bars so they would be together. First, the 46-year-old man called 911 to report that he hit his house with a car. Cops rushed to his home but he had vanished…and there was no damage to his home. Afterwards the man showed up at a Sheriff’s District Office and told deputies he called 911 because “his cat attacked him.” Also he wanted to join his girlfriend in jail. He also told cops “someone was going to shoot up the district.” This last claim finally granted him his wish…but of course he ended up in a separate cell from his girlfriend.
Sit-Down Drive-Through
Port Orange, FL – An elderly man turned a sit-down restaurant into a drive-through after plowing his car into the side of the Biscuit’s “N” Gravy and More restaurant in Florida. The 92-year-old man was at the wheel when his vehicle crashed into the busy restaurant, and although the driver wasn’t hurt, a customer had just left the damaged seating area. Investigators think the man had stepped on the gas instead of hitting the brake while trying to park…but instead of panicking amid all the debris, he calmly got out of the sedan and placed his order. The driver asked if anyone was hurt, but once he was sure all was well, he dug into his breakfast. The damage is estimated at about $25,000, yet the man enjoyed his biscuits ‘n gravy…and more. After breakfast he was cited for careless driving.
