Sisters of Swing Extended AGAIN!
Did you forget to make a reservation and now can’t get a ticket? Don’t worry, Sierra Repertory Theatre has extended Sisters of Swing: The Story of the Andrews Sisters another week! For the first time in their 30-year history, Sierra Repertory Theatre has extended one of their productions for a second time! Now playing until July 5, there will be matinees Wednesday-Sunday at 2 p.m. and one evening performance on Saturday, at 8 p.m. Playing to sold out crowds, Sierra Rep first extended the show until June 28 because of demand for matinee performances as far back as October when single tickets for 2009 went on sale. The demand is still high; the Sierra Repertory Theatre Box Office sells almost 200 tickets a day! The Sisters of Swing, Julie Ludlum, Jill Anderson, and Carrie Madsen made a cameo appearance with Nolan Bonvouloir and Jonn Jorgensen at last Sunday’s Spring Swing at Kautz Ironstone Winery in Murphys. They played to a crowd of over 200, proof that both Calaveras and Tuolumne County cannot get enough of the Andrews Sisters.
To make a reservation call the Box Office at (209) 532-3120 or visit www.sierrarep.org to avoid delays.
