Wine Leads to Underwear Walk
Minisink, NJ – I have often been told that too much wine can make you do crazy things…here is a perfect example. After breaking into a home and stealing a bottle of wine, a 38-year-old New Jersey man decided to drink most of it on the front yard before walking a mile home in his underwear. The owner of the house said he heard noises at about 3 a.m., but thought it was a pet, but upon waking he discovered a downstairs window open and a bottle of wine missing from the kitchen. After searching the property,
state troopers found the bottle of wine, which was nearly empty, and a pile of clothing that included a shirt, socks, sneakers and a pair of pants…which contained the man’s wallet. The man was soon arrested on charges of burglary, a felony, and petit larceny, a
misdemeanor. He is being held in jail with a $25,000 bail. Another reason why they need to make underwear with pockets!
Missing Chihuahua Dispute
Tulsa, OK – When searching for a missing dog, most people put up posters to raise awareness, but a Tulsa woman had a different approach…firing a gun into a crowd of people. About midnight the 35-year-old woman approached a group of people standing outside of a home and told them she was missing her Chihuahua and asked them if they
had seen the dog, but they told her they hadn’t and she walked away. A short time later, the woman returned to the house and again inquired about the Chihuahua, and became frustrated when the group told her again they had not seen the pet…which led to obvious
consequences of getting shot. As the woman walked away from the group she turned and opened fire with a pistol, firing multiple shots and striking two people. One bullet struck a victim in the leg and a bullet grazed the other. The woman ran away from the scene
and was still at large the next morning. The Chihuahua is also still believed to
be at large…
Ummm, Which Way to the White House?
Washington D.C. – When carrying a live grenade, a bucket of ammo and a rifle in your backseat, you might not want to ask a cop for directions to the White House. A 27-year-old man was arrested after they found numerous weapons in his car several blocks from the Capitol building. The man was detained after he stopped to ask a police
officer for directions and the officer saw a rifle case in the car. A search of the Jeep Cherokee turned up a rifle, a live grenade, a pistol, ammunition, magazines with ammunition in them and several other “items of concern.” Police closed nearby streets for several hours while conducting the search. The incident occurred near the Library
of Congress southeast of the Capitol and the FBI, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives and District of Columbia police assisted in the investigation. The man is charged with carrying a deadly weapon and possessing unregistered firearms and ammunition. I am sure now the man wishes that he had planned out his scheme a little better. Mapping out a route to the White House before hand would’ve been a good idea.
