Sunnyside Breakfast Cereal (Some parental participation required)
You will need:
2 cups cornflakes
1//2 cup bran flakes
½ cup quick oats
1/3 cup apple juice
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 tablespoon brown sugar
½ cup dried cranberries
½ cup dried mango
Read all the directions and wash your hands well. Ask an adult to help you pre-heat the oven to 300°.
1. In a large bowl combine the cornflakes, bran flakes, quick oats, cinnamon and brown sugar. Carefully add the apple juice. Gently mix with your clean hands.
2. Spread the mixture on a large cookie sheet.
3. Bake for 30 minutes until lightly browned.
4. Cut the dried mango into small pieces and add to cereal mixture with the dried cranberries. Gently mix with your hands.
5. Cool; store in an airtight container.
