As the temperatures tend to heat up in Summer, so does the action in the little village of Twain Harte! The fourth in a series of events, dubbed Twain Harte Nights, was given a special name August 14th: Hot August Nights! It really wasn’t that hot outside, but it sure was a lot of fun: a car show, complimentary wine tasting and hors d’oeuvres, free entertainment and evening shopping! The next TAain Harte Night is Thursday, September 11th.Come on up, and bring a friend!
The Rose Creek Ramblers pluck and strum old-time, traditional music at All That Matters (art, frame and gift shop). From left to right are: Lisa Smithson (violin), Cheryl Nelson(mandolin), Julio in glasses (supporting, primitive guitar) and Roger Smithson (banjo).
Complimentary wine and hors d’oeuvres? But, of course!
Bobby and Natalia, the house band (Saturdays Nights) at Camps Restaurant in Angels Camp, made the trek to Twain Harte to take part in Hot August Nights! Their captivating blend of pop, smooth jazz and bossa nova pleased the crowd at the Rock Pub and Restaurant!
