Twain Harte Golf Club is a 9-hole par 29 executive course OPEN TO THE PUBLIC and a perfect course for beginning and experienced golfers of all ages. The course offers water hazards, bunkers, and tree lined fairways. It is located in the center of Twain Harte near Eproson Park. During the last year and a half there has been a great deal of work done to improve the greens and fairways.
“I’ve lived here for many years, and the course has never been in better condition,” says Harry Roberson, one of the course founders. “It’s a joy to play.”
Its’ crew of over 100 volunteers, both members and non-members alike, have worked long and hard to bring this public golf course to its current wonderful condition.
T. H. G. C., Meadow Lounge Bar and Restaurant offers a full bar service with Happy Hour from 5-7 p.m. daily.
Several events are scheduled for this summer including MONDAY NIGHT SCRAMBLE, and TUESDAY NIGHT BUSINESS LEAGUE, both with check in times at 5 p.m. and TWILIGHT GOLF Wednesday thru Sunday after 5 p.m. There will also be GOLF UNDER THE LIGHTS on Saturday, July 5th starting at 7 p.m. Night Owls welcome.

The restaurant has recently re-opened under new management with chef Syd Foster. It will be open for breakfast and lunch Tuesday through Sunday 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Phone: 586-3834.
The club also offers complete catering for all types of events with seating for up to 100 and the facility has a dance floor and stage as well. The clubhouse and restaurant is a great place for WEDDINGS, FAMILY REUNIONS, BIRTHDAY PARTIES, ANNIVERSARIES AND ANY SPECIAL EVENT.
The beautiful grounds and banquet room have hosted many weddings and receptions. For outdoor weddings, consider the 1st and 5th tee set up on the lush course. To book your event, contact Jeff Burmester.
This is also a great place for tournaments of all sizes.
The golf course has three clubs for members and public alike. The Twain Harte Niners is a women’s 9-hole club who play on Tuesday mornings. The T. H. Women’s 18-hole club tee off on Wednesday mornings and the Men’s Club begins on Thursday mornings. All clubs are open to players of all ages and skill levels.
The Club offers a Jr. golf membership for $115 for unlimited play. Jr. golfers are encouraged to play with other young people while learning golf etiquette and sportsmanship. Above, are junior golfers (from left to right) Casey, Kirby and Brady Bressler.
The beautiful Twain Harte Golf and clubhouse is owned by its’ members. A limited number of memberships are currently available. There is a yearly pass available too. The course also offers a putting green, pull carts and rental clubs.
Twain Harte Golf Club is open all year, weather permitting. A great place for golf in the Sierra.
We are part time Twain Harte residents and try to play the course there each time we come to town. It is one of the best run small courses in California and the grounds are in excellent conditions. Keep up the good work!
